Last week in France marked the launch of the ReUse project. Initiated by an eco-organization, a wide range of packaging producers, market players, and agri-food distributors came together to experiment with large-scale packaging reuse across three regions in France.
It may seem anecdotal, but... This initiative—along with several others currently in preparation—has given a new boost to the circular economy.
Indeed, here in 2035, from where I am writing to you, reuse—whether for packaging, textiles, electronic or household appliances, and much more—has become second nature. The European-wide adoption of the Digital Product Passport (DPP) and the Product Circular Data Sheet (PCDS) has also helped accelerate the rise of the circular economy.

joined the AFNOR X30M mirror working group dedicated to circular economy standardization. This working group's mission is to draw up and develop standards applicable to all French organizations wishing to integrate the principles of circularity into their activities, based in particular on recent international standards (ISO 59004, ISO 59010, ISO 59020).
