Who said "We need to strengthen the conviction that we are one single human family"? Or "Everything is connected. Concern for the environment, therefore, needs to be joined to a sincere love for fellow human beings and an unwavering commitment to addressing the problems of society" ?
It was Pope Francis. For you, he may have just passed away, but for me, it’s been ten years since he disappeared (I’m still writing to you from the year 2035). I'm not particularly religious, but these few excerpts from Laudato Si', published in 2015, also marked the intellectual birth of our civilization.
