As if the survival of our species could be summed up in a single indicator...
I won't go back over the relevance and sincerity of these commitments, and even less over the deadlines associated with them, but from 2034, where I am writing to you from, I urge you to be more demanding with your interlocutors. Yes, reducing carbon emissions is appreciated by the little way of the future who is writing to you, but don't limit yourself to CO2, there's also methane, nitrous oxide, all the industrial gases...
But above all, there are 9 planetary limits. Water, biodiversity and soil, to name but a few, also need to be properly considered. Unlike other civilisations, you are lucky enough to know these limits, so make sure you respect them.
